Hello & Welcome to My Counseling Practice's Website!
My name is Pamela Norris. I am a licensed professional counselor. I am currently accepting new clients, kids ages 3-13. I also offer sessions for adults who wish to connect with their inner child!
I have always been a genuine helper at heart. My passion in life is supporting and working with children facing life's challenges. I have worked as an educator, school counselor, children's advocate, and private practice counselor for 20 years collectively.
As your child's therapist, I will provide them with the necessary tools to navigate through life's ups and downs. I will nurture and support your child on their developmental and emotional level empowering them to become healthy, happy, thoughtful, and confident individuals.
I offer an unlimited source of support and resources for children and parents alike. Along with individualized therapy sessions for children, I offer Filial Therapy and Theraplay education and skills for parents to improve communication and strengthen parent/child bonds. I also work as a liaison between home and school when necessary.
The therapy modalities I use are very beneficial for kids facing neurodivergent challenges, trauma, grief, anxiety, anger, depression, ADHD, ODD, divorce, adoption, communication challenges, setting boundaries, behavioral issues, challenges at school, body image issues, sexual assault, big feelings, sensory motor challenges and more.

-Somatic EMDR 60 hr Certification Completing, March 2024
-AutPlay Certification, Completing June 2024
-RPT (Registered Play Therapist) Credentials, Completing Dec. 2024
